Sectoral Councils

The Sectoral Councils are debate bodies whose goal is to discuss the particular problems of the different domains of audiovisual production and to establish an array of different courses of action the SAE could adopt regarding these issues, presenting their recommendations to the Board of Directors.

Its members are appointed by the Board of Directors or by the Assembly, and should have sufficient experience in the domain. Each Sectoral Council can adopt its own internal regulations, and can ask the Board of Directors to call for an Assembly.

In addition to the three permanent Sectoral Councils established in the Bylaws, the Assembly can create other ones in order to cope with any new scenario that may arise in the audiovisual industry and properly face its singularities.
